The best soap for skin issues. If you’ve got it this will comfort it.

I rarely leave reviews, but this product pushed me to write one. I have dealt with a host of skin issues - hormonal acne, cystic acne, perioral dermatitis, blackheads, hyperpigmentation, etc. - since I hit puberty. I’ve been on birth control (recently stopped after 8 years), two rounds of Accutane, antibiotics, Tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, and spent thousands of dollars on various skincare products. I recently stopped using face wash all together and only use actives (azelaic acid, differin, rosewater + glycerin toner, Isntree gel moisturizer) that cleared most of my acne, but I still had new (albeit much smaller than before) spots forming every day. I saw this brand at Wegman’s and thought ‘well, traditional liquid face wash always broke me out, but maybe a bar soap would be different.’ Plus, I knew and could pronounce every ingredient in this product so I could easily pinpoint if something did end irritating my skin. I tried it on my body first to see how my skin would react to it. Everything appeared to be in order, and I even saw a reduction in razor bumps caused by ingrown hairs that I usually get after shaving. The next day, I lathered it up in my hands and thoroughly massaged my face, letting the lather sit on my skin for a few minutes before rinsing it off, and then continued with my usual routine. I went to bed, preparing for the worst (those of you with reactive, acne-prone skin understand), and wondered if I just ruined all of my progress. The next morning I woke up and nearly cried. Not only were there no new spots, but my previous spots were significantly reduced. My skin was glowing! This product has single-handedly increased my confidence. I can’t thank B&F enough for creating a non-stripping acne-focused soap. I will be stocking up on this soap like nobody’s business (like Elaine with her sponges on Seinfeld). Thank you again B&F for the Handle Bar soap, I appreciate it so much!

I wish I had access to this soap when I was a teen! Great stuff!

Found this gem at the grocery store. It caught my eye because I use need oil for scarring and it keeps my skin clear. It is hard to find a soap that cleans and heals. Featherbelle should always have this available!

I bought this soap from a health food store about 5 or 6 years ago. The soap immediately cleared up my skin. If I get a blemish it goes away quickly using this soap. You can never stop making this soap - it is everything for my skin!
