SECTION 4 – SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment gateway, Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). Transaction information is stored only as long as needed to complete your purchase and is then deleted.

All direct payment gateways follow PCI-DSS standards managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Third-party providers used by us will only collect and use your information as needed to perform the services they provide.

Certain third-party providers, such as payment processors, have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them to understand how they handle your information.

Some providers may be located in different jurisdictions than you or us. Your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where the provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our store or are redirected to a third-party website or application, this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service no longer apply.

Important: Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties.

• _session_id: unique token, sessional; allows Shopify to store session information.
• _shopify_visit: no data held; persists for 30 minutes; used for internal statistics.
• _shopify_uniq: no data held; expires next-day at midnight; counts visits per customer.
• cart: unique token; persists two weeks; stores cart contents.
• _secure_session_id: unique token; sessional.
• storefront_digest: unique token; indefinite; used if shop has a password.

Biggs & Featherbelle uses cookies to track items placed in your cart, including abandoned carts. This information may be used to send cart reminder SMS messages.

SECTION 8 – AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you have given consent for your minor dependents to use the site.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners to continue servicing you.
