Availability Update
Our Whipped Shea Butters are sold out due to ongoing shortages of both refined and unrefined shea butter, especially the unrefined grades we traditionally use whenever possible.
Climate variability, inconsistent harvests, and production limits in West Africa have reduced available shea supply, while global demand continues to rise. Several producing countries have also limited exports of raw shea nuts to support local processing, further tightening supply. These issues are affecting many fellow makers, not just Biggs & Featherbelle.
Given these constraints, we are pausing production. When supply allows, Whipped Shea will return online only in small, regular batches. For the foreseeable future, we do not expect to support wholesale demand.
